About the Product:

Q: Will this little amp be loud enough for a gig?

A: One word, YES! The Lunchbox is rated at 200 watts and has a custom made 6.5” speaker. In our field tests this amp had more than enough power and clarity onstage with large bands, without the use of an extension speaker cabinet!

Q: What is the difference between the Lunchbox and the Lunchbox2?

A: Nothing really, there is no production on the original Lunchbox anymore so every Lunchbox is a Lunchbox2.

Q: How is it possible for so much volume and tone to come out of such a small package?

A: The Lunchbox amp employs a proprietary acoustical and signal processing technology to maximize output capability while creating great tone. The detailed technical and sonic properties of the cabinet, speaker, power supply and power amplifier work together to create a synergistic result that is beyond any one component.

Q: Is the Lunchbox able to handle a wide variety of guitar styles and sounds?

A: Yes. The Lunchbox was designed with the working musician in mind and because of the design it sounds great for all different types of music. This little powerhouse works wonderfully with all of your favorite pedals making it even more versatile for any situation.

Q: Is the Lunchbox compatible with international voltages?

A: Yes. There is a switch on the back of the Lunchbox for 115 volts or 230 volts. These two selections will work in many countries abroad. (115v setting is good between 110v-120v and the 230v setting is good between 220v and 240v). Please contact us if you have further questions.

Q: It sounds great, but I’m not exactly convinced, is it possible to “try” a lunchbox before I buy?

A: We understand, how can something so small sound so good? Also, unless you’ve heard it in person you aren’t hearing the full story. Video and Audio clips on web sites can’t capture the incredible quality of tone this thing produces due to compression algorithms that “muddy” the sound. We urge you to check out as many clips etc… as you can, but it won’t substitute for the real life experience. Unfortunately, there is no way to get one for a trial.

Q: Does the Lunchbox come with a warranty?

A: Yes, it warranties against all manufacturer defects for one year from date of purchase. You can find more information on ZT’s Website.

Q: Do you offer “Support” for the Lunchbox Amp?

A: For product defects you will need to contact ZT Amplifiers directly, there is more info here: on our support pages. Also, we have a forum you can access by clicking here where you can ask questions and maybe even help someone else with your knowledge.
